Abagold Named Business of the Year by the Hermanus Business Chamber

We are proud and humbled to share that Abagold has been named Business of the Year for 2024 by the Hermanus Business Chamber. The award was presented at the Chamber's year-end gala on 22 November 2024, where our managing director Tim Hedges, chief operations officer Marius Hugo and chief financial officer Enver Manchest received the honour on behalf of everyone at Abagold.

We were also a finalist in the Employer of the Year category — a recognition that means a great deal to us. Abagold employs some 430 people from the local community, and it is their skill, care and commitment, day after day, that have made our farm what it is. This award belongs to them.

Hermanus is more than the place where we farm — it is our home. We thank the Hermanus Business Chamber for this recognition, and the wider Hermanus community for the support and partnership that make our work possible. We look forward to continuing to grow alongside the town we are so proud to be part of.
